Increasing your SEO with content

Hey there! My name is Samantha and I help busy entrepreneurs up level their online presence through great branding images and awesome ROI on their photography.

I am able to promise such excellent ROI because I show people how to improve their SEO with their photography images. It is so easy to add meta-data to any image you put online. It seems like most people either skip this step, don’t know this step exists, or don’t implement it for some reason. Here are three easy ways that you can boost your website’s SEO using branding photos and product images.

Blogs

You’re reading one right now! You can infuse so many keywords into your blogs in a way that’s subtleand helps your reader. Additionally, any time you upload a photo you have the option and the ability to add metadata.

Metadata is what Google and other search engines look for when they’re scouring the web for results that are relevant to a user’s query. The more redundancy your website has in regard to the searched question, the higher it will land in the search engines results page (SERP). This means adding tons of images to each of your blogs and adding keywords into the body text will help your blog rank higher. And of course, the more frequently you’re blogging, and the more search engine keywords and metadata rich photos you use, the more and more highly your rank will grow. It all compounds.

Photos

Adding photos to your website allows you to add more keywords to your website's metadata without creating more text that can clutter your page. By creating searchable images, you’re making Google Images very happy. Google loves it when you’re taking advantage of all of their search result platforms. If you’re eligible for results across every section of their search engine, (images videos etc.) the more highly you will rank! The more you can infuse your website with awesome photos and relevant keyword metadata, The better your website will perform on SERPs.

Portfolio or Projects

If you’re a Squarespace user, there’s one under utilized feature of their website building platform that I think more people should be using. Squarespace’s portfolio function allows you to create a gallery of galleries. You can click here to see mine. You’re able to share your customers' story, a quote from them, and photos of their results (before and after photos etc.) all in one place. And of course, adding meta-data to each photo is a great way to get your website to rank higher.

If you’re not using square space, you can create a second blog on your website using your website builder’s blog functionality and just call it your portfolio. It works the same way. I recommend creating an awesome content based blog for your customers as a value add in addition to creating a portfolio. I don’t think they should be the same thing. This is because they both benefit your website search engines results and they both add value to your client in different ways.
